About Us
WinVinaya Foundation uses education, technology, and innovation to help under underprivileged candidates, persons with disabilities and women. In 2016, IT industry veteran Shiva Jayagopal, who loves coaching, and special educator Akila Sankar, who has extensive experience working with people with disabilities and believes that “Anyone can learn” with the right approach, founded WinVinaya Foundation for training, employment and income generation for persons with disabilities. The foundation empowers individuals and communities to reach their potential by closing the digital divide and promoting equal opportunity. The foundation is working towards a future where everyone has access to quality education, digital skills training, and innovative solutions.

Our mission is to empower and uplift persons with disabilities, women, persons below poverty line through holistic training and development programs. We are committed to breaking down barriers, fostering inclusivity, and facilitating personal growth, employability and income generation for our beneficiaries. Our goal is to create a more inclusive society where everyone has equitable opportunities to reach their full potential and lead a life with dignity.

WinVinaya Academy
WinVinaya Academy is an educational platform that offers free education and training to people with disabilities in an effort to empower them to improve their lives and communities. Courses are accessible in both Indian Sign Language and Simple English at India’s First Digital Learning Academy for People with Disabilities. WVA provides courses in Java, SQL, English, Core Banking, Microsoft Excel, and Soft Skills for STEM and non-STEM individuals. We utilize a Blended Learning Model in which candidates learn through WinVinaya Academy and Mentoring by Expert Trainers via daily phone calls, WhatsApp groups, and emails.
